Lisa
My name is Lisa and I am the original hands behind The Bayside Chiro. I absolutely love my job, I love helping people reach their goals whether that be getting out of pain, moving better or for some of our smaller people, learning to crawl, walk and reach important milestones! I'm in my 12th year of private practice and have treated everyone from a few hours old to 95 years young.
In the UK, I was fortunate enough to provide Chiropractic care to the Poole Pirates Speedway team and corporate care to office workers on site, alongside working in private practice. In more recent years, I have been involved in teaching at CQU acting as a Clinical Supervisor to final year Chiropractor students which has been so rewarding.
I have a special interest in treating pregnant ladies and babies. This has come from going through 3 pregnancies myself and having 3 beautiful babies. I am a big fan of early intervention with little people. I spend my day telling people I DON'T CRACK BABIES! Treatment for out littlest people is so gentle! It's all about easing their tension, facilitating their correct movement patterns and educating parents on what they can do at home to help, that' really where the magic happens! Babies brighten my every clinical day and it's a joy to be a small part of their journey.
MY STORY
I graduated from Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in 2014 after 5 years of full time study. I went on to work full time at a beautiful clinic in South England where we were living. I stayed there for 6 years until we moved to Australia in 2020. Since then, I have worked in another multi-disciplinary clinic helping patients of all ages and from all walks of life. I truly believe that Chiropractic can help so many people in different ways and that's why my job is so varied, no two days are ever the same.
I live locally in Alex Hills with my husband and 3 children; aged 9, 3 and 1 - it's a busy house! When I'm not working, we are either busy with another "small task" from our (ever growing!) reno list or relaxing at local parks with friends.
